Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Own it, bigot

by: Pam Spaulding

Sun Oct 12, 2008 at 22:48:35 PM EDT

Take a look at this footage by Keystoneprogress.org of the idiot with the monkey doll that I posted about yesterday. Here he's having a grand old time outside the Palin rally.

Waving the monkey doll with the Obama sticker around its head he says "This is little Hussein; little Hussein will deceive truth and good Americans." (laughs with gusto). He then waves and taunts protestors at the Johnstown, PA Palin rally with the monkey.

Later, this bigot wasn't nearly as boastful when he noticed that the MSM was videotaping him, then he took the sticker off. Too late, you SOB.

You know, the question I have is what are these people going to do if Obama wins? That scares me.

H/t Fritz, who found some additional knee-slappers from the Base.

I wonder
why he was more than happy to show off for the camera on the first video, but when they were viewing him in the crowd he hid it? What's up with that??

Oh..you said
when he saw the MSM taping him. So he never heard of youtube? What gall to be such a racist slimeball and laugh about it openly. That is truly disgusting. Draft his ass to Iraq and let him make fun of those folks for a while...he's lucky we are more civilized here. Damn lucky.

First video
The first video was probably shot with a small video camera or a digital camera that looks like a still camera such as a Casio EX-Z77 or a Nikon D90 -- there are lots of them. So, the dillhole didn't think he was on video. At the rally, he was surrounded by network video cameras that had CNN and MSNBC on them.

Expect the worst.
what are these people going to do if Obama wins?
Expect the worst.

These people believe that their skin color evidences an enforceable divine right to a superior social and legal status.

here is my fear.
my fear is that someone will take a shot at obama.  bush will use this as an excuse to declare martial law, and deploy the 1st brigade combat team to a strategic u.s. city (DC? NYC?).  then he will suspend the elections.

if obama makes it to election day unscathed, bush will execute a domestic gulf of tonkin, declare martial law, etc.

I don't think this will happen...
Even Bush has to be realistic. So far even where the Supremes disagreed with him, he has followed their decisions. On top of that, the numbers are too close for such an outright takeover.

[ Parent ]
Bush has never been realistic.
He was not realistic with Iraq (cause for going in, how to fight the war, how to exit), and when a law is passed that he doesn't like, he excuses himself from it with a signing statement.  "Realistic" is what you can make happen for yourself, rules be damned.  Bush has never played by the rules unless the rules favor him.  Why should he change now?

Hate to say this...
But the pump was already primed for that with the Religious Reich talk about how there will be riots in the streets.

And endless replays on Fox of only people of color doing the rioting--interspersed with footage of Reginald Denny being dragged out of his truck and beaten; Savage, Hannity, Limbaugh and their ilk talking about how "those people riot"(never mind why) and "hurt innocent people" just to scare the white folks. Then there will be white folks killing them some "Muslim sympathizers"...

So you see, those troops will be necessary. Or there might be "Helter Skelter" (you know one of them will use just that phrase to really scare the 60+ crowd).

Not to worry...
Despite that most awkward public hug, Bush and McCain still detest each other.  I doubt that Bush would do anything to help him, especially since McCain is essentially condemning Bush by doing everything he can to distance himself from the past eight years of Republican rule and somehow cast himself as an agent of change.

[ Parent ]
It would be Bush holding onto power,
not helping McCain get it.  That would be the reason to suspend elections.

If Bush Suspended the US Constitution
(which I think he'd have to do to prevent the elections right now) what would be the chances of McCain - or any other possible Republican nominee - taking power once elections did eventually take place? I'm pretty sure it would be a deal-breaker.

You assume that Bush cares.
Anyone who has been willing to trash the constitution, as Bush has done systematically throughout his administration, doesn't care about anyone by Number 1.  Why should he care one wit about McCain or the GOP?  You also must realize that saying that Bush would already have had to suspend the constitution to accomplish this implies that he plays by rules and that rules are important to him.  Since when?  The definition of a tyrant someone who ignores or re-wrights the rules as he sees fit.  I put nothing beyond Bush.  I think he is capable to the unthinkable.  He has proven time and again that he is willing to break the rules of American society both written and unwritten.  I think people need prepare themselves for the possibility that he'll continue going where no US president has gone before: martial law and a coup.

Indeed
what would be the chances of McCain - or any other possible Republican nominee - taking power once elections did eventually take place? I'm pretty sure it would be a deal-breaker.
Bush and his class of religionist elites don't believe that the constitution is a 'deal' that has any legitimacy anyway.

Bottom line - once Dubya suspends the election (remember: 9/11 was election day - primary - in NYC and many other places; they've had their dry run on 'temporarily' postponing elections) there won't be another one.

It's race and religion
That, and they believe that their religion gives them moral superiority.

A comment
from HuffPo

I'm going to go to a McCain rally with a Mummfied Prune and a 5-watt bulb with red lipstickled lips

I'm thinking a 3 watt bulb would do.

Monkey holding dude looks awfully familiar...
I know I've seen this guy in political videos before.  I seriously wonder if this is another paid McCain operative throwing red-meat to the base.

Anyone have an ident on this guy?

I thought the Republicans said racism is history?
  So what is this then?

The republican party, the home of racists, bigots, and homophobes.  What a
Grand Old Party.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

What A Quality Human Being
The right wing propaganda machine has become more vile than even I thought possible.  Sarah Palin basks in the hatred, hostility and anger she incites during her stump speeches.  The McCain-Palin plan to win the presidency by playing on the xenophobia and bigotry of the more ignorant members of their voter base has created an atmosphere highly charged with animosity and overtones of violence.

The racism and anger has always been there in the minds of many Republican voters, but in the past it was hidden beneath the surface.  Now the anger of their voter base seems likely to boil over at some point.  The result could very well tear our nation apart at the level of human interaction.  There will likely be a lot of violent hate crimes because of the McCain-Palin campaign.

Obama will definitely win the election.  If Obama is inaugurated in January, then a lot of bad things are bound to happen.  Some of these rabid wingnuts we have heard about and witnessed will take their anger out on minorities, members of the LGBT community and anybody else they find unacceptable.  Everybody should be aware of the attitudes that permeate the GOP rallies, because it could be a matter of life and death to be unaware of the danger.

I have never been an angry or violent person, but this man with the stuffed monkey stunned my sensibility.  I became furious.  If I had been there I would have started swinging.  The ignorance and hatred caused me to lose my cool.

I've never seen things like this in an election before.  If such things did take place I didn't know about it.  The fact that my thinking became violent should be an indicator that things are very messed up.  I've been a writer for 30 years.  I am highly educated.  I spend most of my life helping people, and trying to make the world a better place.  And seeing a GOP scumbag heap racist ridicule on the great man we have chosen to be our Democratic candidate shocked me to my core, and brought out the worst in me.

The stupid part of my reaction is that I would have been beaten to a pulp if I had been there.  I'm not a fighter.  I am a very gentle person.  The insult was just so extreme I was prepared to get beaten up over it.

This is wrong.  This is all so very wrong.  I find it hard to believe there are no rules of conduct for political campaigning.  If Palin were a normal citizen she would be arrested for criminal incitement.  When this election is over I intend to propose a set of rules and standards for presidential campaigns, and gather as many signatures as I can before sending copies to Congressional Democrats and to our President.  Our society should no longer allow rabble rousing in the quest for our nation's highest office.

I seem to have written more than I intended.  I apologize for that.  Thank you for your time.

Perhaps more than intended
But, well put. I agree that there should be rules and standards for political campaigns.

If we are going to amend the U.S. Constitution, this would be an issue that would make it worth the effort.

Those running for office should be held to a higher standard. If they lie to us, they should be charged with a crime similar to treason.

When Sarah Palin says something like:

"And he [Obama] said that our troops in Afghanistan are just quote, 'raiding villages and killing civilians.'"

She should be charged with a crime for misrepresenting the facts.

What Obama said was:

"We've got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous problems there."

The fact is our forces had killed 286 civilians at the time Obama spoke. Both Afghan president Hamid Karzai and President Bush expressed concern about the civilian killings at the time.

There's a big difference between what Palin said -- quoting Obama out of context -- and the facts of the matter. Obama never said that our troops were conducting "raids" on villages. He was talking specifically about air raids. Palin knows this.

This kind of deception should be criminal. It may seem like a clever play on words to drop the word "air" from "air raids" and misquote Obama. But, the omission of that one word misrepresents the facts entirely.

If a politician quotes an opponent, he or she should be required to quote exactly -- no paraphrasing, no omissions.

Also, it should be a crime for Palin to state that William Ayers is a friend of Obama. Unless Obama has made a statement to that effect, she should not be able to define whatever relationship they may have had.

Palin said:

"is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect, imperfect enough that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

The truth is that Obama has never "palled around" with Ayers. Obama and Ayers have a casual business relationship at best.

Palin should be required to support her statement with evidence. If she can't, she should be charged with the crime of deceptive campaigning. (Evidence would be witnesses who can swear the men socialized outside of their professional capacities.)

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

will deceive.
I think he's saying "Little Hussein wanted to see truth and good Americans," not "will deceive truth and good Americans."

Not that that makes him any less of a scumbag, of course.

Check this out
There are literally hundreds of racist images on Flickr like this one:

Racists did the same to Martin Luther King back in his day.

don't do it if it hurts inside,

eventually you'll find
you may as well feel good;
you may as well have some pride
