Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Laugh of the day - McCain on Obama 'socialist programs'

by: Pam Spaulding

Sun Oct 19, 2008 at 03:40:44 AM EDT

Holy smoke - does the McCain campaign try to explode irony meters? A screen cap from CNN's front page (Sun, 3AM ET):

Sen. John McCain stepped up his rhetoric against his Democratic rival on taxes in his weekly radio address Saturday, comparing his plan to "socialist" programs.

..."You see, [Obama] believes in redistributing wealth, not in policies that help us all make more of it. Joe (the discredited plumber), in his plainspoken way, said this sounded a lot like socialism," McCain said Saturday.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has used the word in speeches the past two days as well.

McCain also said in his radio address, "At least in Europe, the socialist leaders who so admire my opponent are up front about their objectives. They use real numbers and honest language. And we should demand equal candor from Sen. Obama. Raising taxes on some in order to give checks to others is not a tax cut; it's just another government giveaway."

On the campaign trail Saturday in Concord, North Carolina, he added that Americans have seen sharing the wealth in other countries before. But he quoted Obama as saying he wants to "spread the wealth around."

Never mind that that latter comment made by Obama was taken completely out of context by Mr. Angry, -- what about that $700 billion bailout to bring banks under the wing of the U.S. government? What's that, exactly, if it isn't socialism? This is laughable.

Chavez says "Comrade Bush" turns left in crisis
CARACAS (Reuters) - Socialist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez mocked George W. Bush as a "comrade" on Wednesday, saying the U.S. president was a hard-line leftist for his government's intervention of major private banks in the U.S. financial crisis.

Chavez, who calls capitalism an evil and ex-Cuban leader Fidel Castro his mentor, ridiculed Bush for his plan for the federal government to take equity in American banks despite the U.S. right-wing's criticism of Venezuelan nationalizations.

"Bush is to the left of me now," Chavez told an audience of international intellectuals debating the benefits of socialism. "Comrade Bush announced he will buy shares in private banks."

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

Laughable wasn't the word I had in mind...
Desperation - it's so unbecoming.

Sigh...
Demonstrating once again that Pugs could give a $|-|17 about facts with any connection to the real world-- all that matters is the magic buzz words that program Pug voters like robots. How dreary and depressing. The instant anyone begins to pay attention to real facts instead of the Matrix they will see through the illusion. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain etc.

Here's what I find about compromise--
don't do it if it hurts inside,
'cause either way you're screwed,
eventually you'll find
you may as well feel good;
you may as well have some pride

Come on now
this is just another brilliant McCain election strategy. He is trying to rouse his base by being a hypocrite...you know...the only thing they understand...hypocrisy. Without it they couldn't exist.

$150,000,000!!!!!!!!!
Just got an email from the Obama campaign that last month they raised "over $150,000,000" and added 632,000 new donors to their list!!!  Amazing.  I know my spouse and I doubled our planned contribution for the month and gave more than ever before because we were so outraged by the slime and stupidity of McCain/Palin.

Most Blenders are probably too young to understand the specific fear-mongering they're doing with "socialist."  That dates back decades and is really trying to make people think the Commies are coming, the Commies are coming.  That's why McCain called Acorn a "front organization" in the debate--this kind of terminology was used to describe so-called secretly Communist organizations.

I hadn't heard the like in years.  It makes me laugh and it makes me groan.  You'd think since the fall of the Berlin Wall almost twenty years ago and the collapse of the USSR such wizened rhetoric would have simply faded away--but McCain/Palin may actually scare up some votes using it.

SENIORS and STUDENTS......

In David Pouffles video re the Obama September blitz...which noted that the 3.1 million people who have contributed to Obama = an average of $86 each...the largest groups are seniors...(e.g. those who do remember the horrors of communism, and fascism and the REAL wars.) and students...in the little running list over 130,000 students have contributed! (These guys only know 'terrorists.'and the Republicans forced 'wars.')

The seniors know the difference between Obama's promise of a focus on middle class priorities...and the students just are smart enough not to want to have to go to war themselves..and need jobs.

So NOV. 4 will tell us 'how many votes,' they are gathering by their negative campaigning... at least OBAMA focused on that during the last debate..and it makes people judge each new McCain ad on its negativity..hopefully discounting the ones that are.

Obama's mised opportunity
During the debate, when John McCain said that he didn't know why Obama wouldn't cut taxes for everybody (namely, the rich), Obama should have said something to the effect of: Well John, we have to pay for programs with something and the middle class already pays a disproportionate share of government spending.

If only it were true
The European social democracies, though they have their problems, are the most humane, civilized countries on earth.  It's high time America started following their lead.

Oh wait--no one is ever allowed to suggest that any other country does anything better than the US.  Forget I said anything,

Americans suffer from an ignorance that is not only colossal, but sacred.  --James Baldwin

A few examples...
Nine of the top ten countries listed in the Economist Intelligence Unit's Quality of Life Index are European, and seven of the top ten countries on the Human Development Index are European. Five of the six countries to appear in both top-tens are European - Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Ireland; the sixth is Australia. Sixteen of the top 25 cities on Mercer's Quality of Living Survey are in Europe, as are 26 of the top fifty. There are no US cities in the top 25. Of the six countries in both top tens, only Iceland does not have a city in the top 25 on Mercer's survey.

Spreading the wealth around
Why is the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend not socialist? I may be confused, but this seems like a really, really, really socialist idea.
