The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Palin comes out full force for federal marriage amendment

by: Pam Spaulding

Mon Oct 20, 2008 at 10:45:00 AM EDT

UPDATE: Rod McCullom of Rod 2.0 contacted the LCR for a reaction and here it is, from Patrick Sammon:
We disagree with Gov. Palin on this issue, but we're glad that Sen. McCain agrees with us.  The president sets the policy for the administration. Sen. McCain twice voted against the federal marriage amendment and continues to believe the states should decide this issue.
We report, you decide how lame that is.

Log Cabin Republicans -- do you need to know any more about Bible Spice's perspective on gay and lesbian relationships now? McCain doesn't support FMA, a fact the LCRs has touted early and often, even though it's misleading because he is merely taking a federalist position -- he supports state amendments, and actually would support FMA if it looked like marriage equality was going to be the law of the land in a SCOTUS rulling.

But Governor Palin leaves no doubt about where she stands in this interview with David Brody, CBN News Senior National Correspondent (CBN has video):

Brody: On Constitutional marriage amendment , are, are you for something like that?

Palin: I am, in my own, state, I have voted along with the vast majority of Alaskans who had the opportunity to vote to amend our Constitution defining marriage as between one man and one woman. I wish on a federal level that that's where we would go because I don't support gay marriage. I'm not going to be out there judging individuals, sitting in a seat of judgment telling what they can and can't do, should and should not do, but I certainly can express my own opinion here and take actions that I believe would be best for traditional marriage and that's casting my votes and speaking up for traditional marriage that, that instrument that it's the foundation of our society is that strong family and that's based on that traditional definition of marriage, so I do support that.

Now how about her purported lifelong gay friend that she mentioned in past interviews -- does she really believe that if her friend is in a committed same-sex relationship that there should be no legal recognition at all? It's nice to know she likes tossing her close friends under the bus like that.

I would love to see this friend come forward to comment on how she feels about Sarah Palin as a close confidante. Of course she may be an LCR for all I know.

LCRs will be in denial, they will say,,
Bible Spice is not on the top of the ticket and it would be up to McSame to be in favor of an amendment.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

of course if he's six feet under
then Bible Spice clearly has the reins on this one. Thankfully, Congress wouldn't let it get anywhere, but it's good to point out that Palin is no friend to gays, no matter how the LCRs spin it.

[ Parent ]
The Vichy-ite LCR's
will be making excuses for the right til we actually get same sex marriage nationally, and then the little collaborationists will take credit for the victory, just as the Mattachines, who initially condemned the Stonewall Uprising, have written revisionist histories to give upper and middle class gay men credit for Stonewall(see Marechal Dale Carpenter Petain)

I tell you Chica that no greater abomination exists than women denying their spirit of sisterhood and instead becoming the oppressor. -Rebeca, Universidad Complutense de Madrid

These LCRs are so predictable.
At least they are pissing off the Peter for being in his party.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

[ Parent ]
I'll give her credit
for at least being completely clear on her stance.

That said, I disagree 100% with her, will vote against her, donate against her, and never support her.

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

Let this be a lesson to you, Blenders...

Ditto
she is 100% consistent in all of her narrow minded views (her stance against abortion for any reason but the definitive and imminent death of the mother is a prime example).  Palin has made it abundantly clear that while she will begrudgingly follow the law of the land, she (with McCain's support) is intent on ensuring the law of the land is consistent with her understanding of biblical law.

A vote for McCain-Palin is a vote to make any non-fundamentalist Christian a second class citizen.

Rumor has it that McCain is so frustrated that he is planning a Wright-Farrakhan blitz to help him with the Jewish vote.  All of McCain and Palin's nefarious associations will have to be in play.

Palin's Marriage "Issues"
I'm sure Ms. Palin is planning on advocating, in her upcoming public speeches, the shot-gun marriage of her daughter and future son-in-law as exemplary of her views on "traditional marriage that, that instrument that it's the foundation of our society is that strong family and that's based on that traditional definition of marriage". (Hard to make sense of what she said, but her intent: let's make sure we maintain the "traditional definition of marriage".) She is an embarrassment to the thinking people of this country...and imagine, only a short breath from becoming President should she and her "soul-mate" McCain burst through in the final days before the election and win!

There is no greater marriage tradition...
...than a shotgun!

Arrgh
My inner English teacher cringes at Palin's propensity toward run-on sentences.

I also dislike the term "traditional marriage."  What is practiced today is a modern (as in the last 500 years) innovation:

Ummm...logic, anyone?
"I'm not going to be out there judging individuals, sitting in a seat of judgment telling what they can and can't do"

Umm...Governor Palin...a federal marriage amendment would tell people what they can and can't do.

You betcha.

I'd like to see Palin
address this story!

Imaginary friends
A lot of these conservatives have imaginary friends

LCR Reply
A Log Cabin Republican reply: "B-b-b-but her hair looks like Audrey Hepburn's!!!"

What will it take?
Do we need to have live video of Sarah Palin beating the crap out of a lesbian or a gay guy while lobbyists hold them down?  Is this clear enough for the LCR now?

I am just dying to hear how McCain-Palin still represents a better choice for the LGBT community now.  I can only imagine it involves magic or something.

Sarah Palin is another big Government Republican.
Sarah Ha Ha is another in your bedroom Republican.

States rights?  Get real.

Amen, Bro
During her disastrous series of interviews with Katie Couric, Palin said that she disagreed with Supreme Court rulings that took away powers from the states (of course, specifics alluded her).

But using her logic, or lack thereof, doesn't this take away power from the states? But I already know that things like principles, values, and beliefs don't really matter when you have a base to appease and an election to steal.

Gay Marriage Ban
Looks like those silly boi's over at Log Cabin Republicans got some explaining to do now.

Momma would say...

"That gurlz tawkin' outta both sides uh her mouth!"

[Momma grew up in Alabama]

Regarding her "gay friend"...
This is one of my biggest pet peeves.  I have many family members, friends and acquaintances who think the same way.  They seem to be very progressive thinkers by the way they live and how they lovingly accept us and our kids, then they turn around and vote for some wingnut candidate.  Or, we find out that they go to some crazy right-wing church, or they let their kids join Boy Scouts.  For years I've been trying to understand this rampant hypocrisy.

I was raised very strict Catholic.  But when I became a grown-up, I realized that the church's doctrine didn't match my moral values.  So I carefully searched for a different denomination that did reflect my values (UCC).  I have many friends who were also raised Catholic who are pro-choice, for same-sex marriage, etc. and STILL go to the Catholic church!  I don't get it!!!

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to maintain those relationships.  I lose tons of respect for anyone who can live such an inauthentic life.

Ok, I don't believe in pregnant 17 yr olds getting married
because they have the highest rate of divorce.

So, Governor, lets get a Federal Marriage Amendment that forbids marriage below the age of 20 and requires prenant teens to wait.

Oh, and while we're at it, lets have an amendment to bar fundamentalists from politics on the grounds of inflammatory positions in opposition to the constitution that they are sworn to uphold.

Couldn't leave it alone, could you?
You have to use the "gay threat" to incite the base.

Let's try this one:
I want my daughters protected, not from gays, but from "f*ckin' redneck" hockey players from backwards, cold, reactionary states.,

Keep your right wing teens in hormonal disarray out of the lower 48 please...

Oh, and by the way Bible Spice,
Today my partner and I are celebrating 18 years of being in a loving, commited, monogamous relationship and are raising two amazing, well-balanced children.  I'll put that up any day against Bristol's forced shotgun "one-man-one-woman" wedding that, statistically speaking, is most likely doomed for divorce or even worse, lifelong unhappiness.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it, Beotch.

Congrats to you Mom....and mom on your anniversary. :)

Congrats Mom--far more stable that Hockey Boy and Momma to be

Didn't do too badly outside of the bonds of "traditional rednecked f*cker hockey player and pregnant 17 yr old marriage" did we, Mom?

Thanks Karen, Maura and Louise!
We celebrated with a VERY ROMANTIC dinner for five (us, the kids and my mom), where the entertainment included both kids spilling their drinks and being generally unruly.  We were also serenaded by the lovely, relaxing  sound of children complaining about their food.

I'm happy to provide this virtual birth control for those of you considering parenthood!  (Just kidding)!

HAHA!
Try this trick to shut up the wee beasties- threaten to sing to each other romantically! Works for us... even with tweens!

Obviously not a conservative
if you think that lifelong unhappiness is worse than divorce.

The result? Domestic terrorism on a huge scale
If discrimination is written into our Constitution, we could see a domestic terror movement unlike any this country has ever witnessed.

It will be just asking for it to happen.

You can't make people second-class citizens with no hope for equality without it resulting in violence.

That's how it has been throughout history. In fact, radicals have committed violent acts for much smaller causes.

We will see church bombings, kidnappings, and assassinations. I wouldn't be surprised to see suicide bombers.

I know this is a controversial topic. But, someone has to say it. Do they really want to go down this road?

Endorsing a Constitutional marriage amendment is reckless, and could result in violence and death. These fundamentalists just keep pushing the limits of decency and eventually large numbers of people are going to feel desperate enough to use extreme measures.

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

- Abraham Lincoln.

Jesus Fritz
You're right that she's asking for toruble and you're playing right into it.  Your comment could be taken and used as an example of radical terroristic threats and an example why teh gayz and teh libruls are so dangerous.  I understand how you feel but the comment is a little irresponsible and can be twisted into people believing we advocate that sort of violence.

[ Parent ]
We dont advocate violence
but if the Right continues to perpetrate violence against us, if their leaders incite crowds to commit those acts of violence against us, to disenfranchise us, to deny us the most basic rights and protections of American citizens, then there will in the end be another uprising on our part(except fot the LCR's, who will be decorating ammo cases for the Right wingers)

A Constitutional amendment denying our rights would take decades to overturn.

Keep in mind that they are preaching overt hatred against us now
They are commiting the most egregeous acts of violence against us now.

We have asked for equality, a request that they continue to throw back into our faces soaked in the blood of our brothers and sisters.

Sooner or later, for some members of our community, equality will no longer be enough. They will demand justice.

I am not advocating such a course. But neither am I squeamish about such a course being followed in lieu of being a statistic in their major medical theorist, Dr Paul Cameron, proposal for a final solution to the homosexual problem...yes, he did make such a suggestion, to C Everett Koop.

I am Irish. I consorted with terrorists. I was raised by my grandmother, a convicted terrorist(Easter Rising 1916, War of Independence, Irish Civil War)

I studied law in Spain. Some of my professors were survivors of the Spanish Civil War. When the Church incited violence against the Republicans in Spain, they fought back and held the Church accountable.

We on the LGBT side have been oh so gentlemanly and ladylike in our opposition. Our reward has been homes of LGBT's firebombed, Lesbians raped and beaten, a group of young Lesbians who defended themselved against a homophobe sent to jail, and about every eight days, another one of us murdered. One of us was shot down in a classroom in front of his friends.

The violence is already taking place, and all of it is being directed against us. Fritz is correct in anticipating that sooner or later, one too many of us will die....people will want justice.....

Has she talked to McCain about his "traditional marriage"?
Oh wait, he doesn't have one. Screwed around on what should be his first and only wife (according to the Bible). Has Palin called for his stoning yet? Doubt it...

I'm surprised
the McCain/Palin ticket hasn't come out and said that the Obama marriage and family are all show and for political gain!!

Wow, the extent some, er, THOSE people will go to to win an election...

And don't forget! Joe Biden is on his second marriage- just like John McCain!!

I forgot
to say again that Joe Biden is someone whom I just plain out LIKE alot; started listening to him back in the '80s, long before I knew his backstory. He just made SENSE to me. Still pinching myself that he's on the ticket...

Today a friend of mine is burying his 32 year old wife, whom I utterly admired and adored- she passed last week of cancer. He will go forward, raise her son whom he recently adopted, and "put one foot in front of the other" for awhile. And so many people in our little town, myself included, will do everything we can to help him. I promised them both that last spring, when they last came out here to my house together to gather lilacs and we talked of this day. Life does go on...

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

Hypocrisy at its most obvious
Conservatives don't even realize that their representatives contradict themselves with this crap. Palin is always whining about how Obama wants more government in our lives. Republicans usually want to let states decide on important laws individually. But anything tied to their warped sense of morality must be enacted on a federal level. The party of Lincoln is just a wannabe Vatican in disguise.

just posted the LCR reaction to Palin
Updated the post with this:  Rod McCullom of Rod 2.0 contacted the LCR for a reaction and here it is, from Patrick Sammon:
We disagree with Gov. Palin on this issue, but we're glad that Sen. McCain agrees with us.  The president sets the policy for the administration. Sen. McCain twice voted against the federal marriage amendment and continues to believe the states should decide this issue.
We report, you decide how lame that is.

And if McCain dies, what will the LCRs say then?
One of the great fears, not unspoken either, in this campaign is the possibility of McCain's health failing and Palin becoming president.

We know how she feels about gay rights,
The LCR's know.

Just the chance of her sitting in the Oval Office should deter any LGBT from voting McCain.

But not our cute little collaborationists, not our gay Vichy-ites. They will collaborate right to the end....

Just curious....
what all antidepressants is Patrick Sammon on?

Every reply of Sammon's during this election has been the same - zombified and repetitive.

Surely not all gay republicans feels the same way as this weirdo.  Sammon REALLY has this "don't give a fuck" attitude going on, to the point that it's dangerous even for LCR's.
