The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Palin: McCain believes rape and incest victims must give birth to assailant's offspring

by: Pam Spaulding

All right, Bible Spice! Let's put a laser-beam focus on that hot button issue of abortion at the very time John McCain is attempting to reach out to independent voters, many of whom are pro-choice. Methinks Sarah Palin is preparing for her 2012 run and it's damn-the-torpedoes time. This is from her interview with Daddy D. (Mark Ambinder):
Dr. James Dobson today asked Gov. Sarah Palin about her private conversations with Sen. McCain about the Republican platform's planks on life and marriage.

"In your private conversations with Senator McCain is it your impression that he also strongly supports those views? I know that he did not oppose that platform when it was written. Do you think he will implement it?"

Good question. A lot of social conservatives worry about this.

Governor Palin responded: "I do, from the bottom of my heart. I am such a strong believer that McCain believes in those strong planks and we do have good conversations about some of the details too, about the different planks and what they represent."

The 2008 GOP platform is a bit more conservative than it was in 2004. If McCain is going to implement it - something of which Palin is convinced from the bottom of her heart - then that means that McCain will support a constitutional amendment to ban all abortion (including those cases where the mother was raped or was the victim of incest), a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, and he will oppose government-sponsored embryonic stem cell research.

The strange thing is, McCain does support embryonic stem cell research and has stated that abortion should be left to the states.  Will he correct her, or have his long standing postions morphed in this desperate time?

This
is one of the deepest fears I have- that our disabled daughter were to be raped. Just writing that took a few attempts... that have to explain to her what the further consequence- NO.

I would sell everything I own to get her to where she could have a completely safe abortion.

That any parent of a daughter could make such a statement is shocking to my core.

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

and to make matters worse
they have reframed hormonal contraception as abortion which means that, if they succeed, it is quite likely that more women risk pregnancy as a result of rape.  In other words, they may actually intentionally be forcing the conception of children to further harm and punish the rape victim and then requiring them to bring these children to term.

Ceacescu anyone?

It's not just for birth control.
How about those of us who take The Pill for things like PCOS?  We're just as hooped.

He'll let it slide.
He's a wind sock. He has always been a wind sock. He'll nod and agree because he's got absolutely no spine. He's pure opportunist.

I hated him in the 80s, and I find it very hard to believe how far he's made it. We didn't want him in AZ, and we damn sure don't want him in DC.

Governor Palin responded: "I do, from the bottom of my heart. I am such a strong believer that McCain believes in those strong planks and we do have good conversations about some of the details too, about the different planks and what they represent."

Seems to me the only planks in that conversation were Palin and Daddy D.

Ooooooh, I like to dance a little sidestep...
She didn't answer the question! (not that I'm at all surprised)  It was a yes or no question.  If she had discussed the issue with John McCain she would have stated what he believes, not what she believes he believes.

consequences of abuse...
Not long ago in Florida, similar political actions to policies that Palin and McCain support required notification of the alleged father of a child if an adult female sought an abortion.

Women's advocates rightly pointed out that often, getting pregnant and intending carrying a child to term is ALSO an motive for homicide of the woman. Although it's an extreme extension of the life of the mother being an exception for an abortion: criminal statistical information shows a great deal of domestic abuse, or homicide occurs when a woman is pregnant.

The legislation of Florida defeated the law, but making a woman carry the child of her abuser makes her forever the target of that abuser and the child a bargaining chip she can never escape of have control of.

What any anti abortion or anti contraceptive law IS saying is that a woman's opportunity to control HER OWN destiny isn't an option once she's pregnant, she's no longer as viable a human being as her unborn child.

Tragic, but ridiculous.  What if Bristol's bf would rather kill her than have her have his baby?

Wonder if the thought crossed his mind?

The female vote.
Lost it.  She did.

STUPID CUNT!!!
As a victim of Rape that is the only intelligent thing I an say right now

Besser ein ende mit Schrecken als ein Schrecken ohne ende

I have never been raped,
Those words fit her perfect.  Sorry to hear you are one of six victims in this country.  I hope all is going ok for you.

But yes, Palin is a Stupid Cunt.

I know the feeling...I was raped about 18 years ago
I can't imagine the violation and brutality AND having to be concerned with a pregnancy too

Not to one-up anyone, but...
...I was 9 when it happened to me, and puberty comes early in my family (I was the only student wearing a bra in my elementary school--4th grade). When I learned a girl can become pregnant prior to first menses (which follow first ovulation, after all), I shuddered at my close shave. Imagine explaining that one--it sounds like a tabloid headline.

Now I shudder at the prospect of Palin et.al. in power. Since the debacle of the 2000 election, I'm skeptical of polls, no matter how well designed, so I can't get all that hopeful.

Why not intensify the beam?
If the Christianists cite religion as the foundation of their opposition of abortion let them try to enact a biblical law regarding rape.  How does the bible deal with rape, you ask?  Simple, if you aren't already married the rapist must pay $50 to your father, and then you must marry him.  If you are married and you are raped in the city you have to die.  If you are raped in the country, you know "real America", that's ok.

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father.  Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
                               Dueteronomy 22: 28-29

If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife.

                               Dueteronomy 22: 23-24
