Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Media buyers: GOP pulling ads from Michele Bachmann's race

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Oct 22, 2008 at 18:00:00 PM EDT

We all knew that Presidential face leech and defender of "family values" Rep. Michele Bachmann's (R-MN) homo-hate would never be her undoing, but it's still delicious to see her going down in flames because of Michele Bachmann's unhinged neo-McCarthy rant on Hardball.
Two sources aware of ad buys in Minnesota say that the National Republican Congressional Committee is pulling its media purchases from Bachmann's race. If true, it is a remarkable fall for a congresswoman who, until recently, seemed relatively safe in her predominantly conservative district. The race had become closer in recent days -- the NRCC had transferred funds from Rep. Erik Paulsen (MN-03) to Bachmann a little over a week ago.

In the days following her appearance on Hardball, however, Bachmann has watched as her challenger, El Tinklenberg raised more than a million dollars off her incendiary remarks. That surge in fundraising put Bachmann's re-election in a far less certain position.

Do you think she might be pissed?
The day we find out that out that the RNC spent $150K on Palin's wardrobe we also hear that the RNCC is pulling ads for Bachmann?

GOP "Death List" Predicts Democratic Blowout in the House
Voter displeasure with the war and economy, coupled with Sen. Barack Obama's popularity, has the House GOP running for cover. Even though polls have shown that Americans don't like congressional Democrats any more, a new internal GOP tally of House races suggests a Democratic route that could keep the Republicans in the minority for decades. A document provided to Washington Whispers from a House GOP official shows that they could lose a net 34 seats. That means the Democrats would have a 270-165 advantage in the 111th Congress. In the Senate, Republicans expect to lose also but to keep up to 44 seats, ensuring their ability to stage a filibuster.

The document provided to Whispers is no gag: It comes from one of the key House GOP vote counters. The source called it a "death list." The tally shows several different ratings of 66 House Republicans in difficult races or open seats held by retiring Republicans. "Rating 1" finds 10 Republicans "likely gone." Those districts are New York 13, Alaska, Arizona 1, Virginia 11, New York 25, Illinois 11, Florida 24, Michigan 7, Nevada 3, and North Carolina 8. Under "Rating 2," nine Republican seats are listed as "leaning Democratic." Under "Rating 3," some 22 GOP seats are listed as "true toss-up." The fourth rating, "lean Republican," finds 15 seats in the category that comes with this warning: "If there's a wave, some could be in trouble." The last "likely Republican" rating finds another 11. Only three Democratic districts are seen as "hopeful" GOP pickups. They are Florida 16, Pennsylvania 11, and Texas 22. Another 10 Democratic seats are listed as "possible" pickups. The loss of 34 House GOP seats is among the most dire predictions in Republican circles. Most analysts have suggested a drop of at least 20 seats and at most 30 seats. A key Democratic official refused to provide his own list but said, "I'd rather be us than them."

Supermajority
In the Senate, Republicans expect to lose also but to keep up to 44 seats, ensuring their ability to stage a filibuster.

Judging by the current scores on Electoral-vote.com, it wouldn't take too much of a push for the Dems to get the extra few seats they need to get a supermajority in the Senate - and AK, MN, KY, MS and GA are all looking like definite possibilities for voting Democrat.

Right now Obama would benefit far more from a few extra senators than a few extra electoral college votes.

Will 60 mean 60?
I haven't seen the actual lists - but do they count Holy Joe as one of the 60?

If so, I think we need 61.

>^..^<

[ Parent ]
If Obama wins, Holy Joe will be up a creek,
He will have nothing unless the Dems in control give it to him.  Look for some shady deal with Holy Joe to keep him on 'our' side.  I wish Joe would just switch and go sit in the corner.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Over 60s
Currently there are seven states that could go either way - three for the Dems (AK, OR, NC) one undecided (MN) and three for the Republicans (KY, MS, GA).

The Dems have a 4-point lead in OR, and Liddy Dole's polls in NC are sinking faster than Wall Street right now, so both states are pretty much out of the question for the Republicans. That leaves AK as the only Dem-leaning state that the Republicans could win.

MN could go either way, however with the RNC pulling out of the Bachman race the local Dems will have more time & money to spend on the Senate race.

It's hard to tell how KY, MS and GA will go - polls seem to put all three races pretty close (within 2%) with the Dems generally slightly below thee Republicans, which means a good push could win one or more of those states - and that is all the Dems need.

If the Dems win all seven they'll have a majority of 62 (including Lieberman). Meanwhile to avoid a Democratic supermajority the Republicans need to either win three outright, or win two and pilfer Lieberman. So the Dems need five or (preferably) six wins. MS and GA are the most promising targets - and they're the ones the Dems are going for.

'It's a Whole Different Game'
October 22, 2008 2:25 PM

ABC News' George Stephanopoulos reports: When your adversaries are praising you, you must be doing something right.

Listen to this from one top Republican campaign official who says Barack Obama's ground game is unlike anything we've ever seen before:

"This is the greatest ground game they've ever put together," he told ABC News on the condition of anonymity. "It's scary."

He said Obama holds a considerable ground game advantage over McCain and suggests the Democratic nominee has hundreds of paid staffers in each state.
