Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Wingnut Powerline blog: Obama needs to follow the Bush model of public speaking

by: Pam Spaulding

Wed Nov 12, 2008 at 12:00:00 PM EST

How many hits of acid did Powerline's John Hindraker drop before he wrote this? (w/Crooks & Liars video):
Obama thinks he is a good talker, but he is often undisciplined when he speaks. He needs to understand that as President, his words will be scrutinized and will have impact whether he intends it or not. In this regard, President Bush is an excellent model; Obama should take a lesson from his example. Bush never gets sloppy when he is speaking publicly.

He chooses his words with care and precision, which is why his style sometimes seems halting. In the eight years he has been President, it is remarkable how few gaffes or verbal blunders he has committed. If Obama doesn't raise his standards, he will exceed Bush's total before he is inaugurated.

Let's go to the video tape:

Never heard of him.
I don't know who John Hindraker is; has he been at this whole punditry thing long?

Because I wonder if he's a closet liberal who's just celebrating the Obama win via satire.  Is that possible?

"There are two kinds of people in this world -- the kind who separate the world into two kinds of people, and those who don't."  -- Gloria Steinem

Funny faces
I'm just glad that we won't have a president who makes goofy faces!

Bush always had a stupid or comical expression on his face. He just could help being the "class clown."

Obama is dignified. He has self-control and knows how to present himself as a leader.

McCain was just as goofy as Bush:

Another class clown. We don't need a jester in the White House. We need someone with class and intelligence.

Obama is always in control. There isn't a single photo of Obama with a goofy expression on his face. Do a Google search. Try to find one. You won't.

When you look for the bad in mankind, expecting to find it, you surely will.

- Abraham Lincoln.

Tommy Cooper
George Bush reminds me a little of Tommy Cooper - the only difference is that Tommy Cooper actually wanted to make people laugh. For anyone who needs a good giggle:

Hmm...
I agree with red7eric; I'm hoping the post was satirical (although I know odds are not on my side.)  Because if it was not, I think it shows how completely disconnected some members of the right are from what is actually going on.

Sorry, OKPW...
Olbermann brought this nutcase up last night on "Countdown" complete with DUB-yuh saying stupid things.

It's legit.

The Bush Model of Public Speaking
I assume by that they mean starting out by making yourself look like a complete pillock, and then going down down down from there on in?

I didn't think that great acid was still available these days.
but then again, these last 8 years seems like a real bad trip.  Wake me up on the other side.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

My best friend, for whom I am caregiver...
...makes more sense after a hit of dilaudid.

What PLANET is Hindraker ON??????????

Kook
Either this is satire, or this guy is trying to play the "if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it" game on the wrong people.

If the latter is true, next thing you know, he'll be trying to convince everyone that it was in fact William Hung who won American Idol LOL!

comparing
one of the most accomplished and talented public speakers alive with won't-get-fooled-again Bush is mind boggling. Sadly, or hilariously, the author is likely serious.  I can't imagine Powerline letting pro-Obama satire slip onto its pages.

And I love the way Hindraker frames the way Obama think about himself: "thinks he is a good talker."  What a tool.  But, I knew that about him already.

Electricity's for light bulbs!

I think you drop acid...
and Hit a Bong...but maybe he did both! Hilarious.  Sorry, Charley, you are just going to have to turn up the HA and pay attention and ENJOY...one of the best public speakers since Lincoln.

It's the Hammer of JUSTICE,
It's the Bell of FREEDOM,
It's the Song about LOVE between,
my Brothers and my Sisters
...All over this Land.

Yes, well...
I think that Mr. Hindraker misunderestimates the President-elect.

I like the name other bloggers have for Hinderaker
His nickname for obvious reasons is "Assrocket." Seriously, what planet does Hinderaker live on? It certainly isn't Planet Earth.

Doesn't this bonehead ever watch Letterman?
When Letterman started airing "Great Moments in Presidential Speeches," years back, I assumed the gimmick would wear out its welcome after a month or two. But here we are at the very end of the Bush presidency, and it's still going strong, still as funny as ever.   And this dodo seriously wants us to believe Bush is a brilliant speaker?

It would be completely beyond the pale, except that it's symptomatic of the revisionism that has still to shift into high gear, but will do so inevitably.   Twenty years from now, these people will be talking about George Bush with the same reverence they now pour over the memory of Ronald "Bonzo's Boy" Reagan.

I am not interested in picking up crumbs of compassion thrown from the table of someone who considers himself my master. I want the full menu of rights.  -Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Here's a tip...
For anyone who ever finds themselves in the Kremlin and has Vlad invite them to a game of poker. DON'T DO IT!

Having watched him in a discussion with Bush years ago it is very likely that when he gets tired of Russian politics he will be found at casino poker tables cleaning out peoples wallets. There is definately no way any ordinary human would have kept a straight face in that meeting.
