Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Convicted felon Uncle Ted looks like he's going down

What will Bible Spice do if there's no GOP Senate seat to fill?
Sen. Ted Stevens' hold on the U.S. Senate seat he's held for 40 years is looking increasingly shaky in the face of more votes for Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich.

Begich now holds an 814-vote lead he took after nearly 60,000 votes were counted Wednesday. Thursday, the Elections Division provided additional detail on where the more than 40,000 votes yet to be counted come from.

With many arriving from Democratic strongholds that favored Begich on Election Day, the challenger looks to be in a strong position to unseat Stevens, the longest serving Republican ever in the U.S. Senate.

"Given where we expect the remaining votes are located, this looks very good for Begich," said polling analyst Nate Silver on the Web site Fivethirtyeight.com, a national polling site that has been looking at Alaska.

The district with the most absentee votes left to be counted, 2,116, is Sitka, which Begich won 54 percent to 41 percent.

"The remaining full districts ... those are good districts for us," Begich said Thursday.

This is the best news from Alaska
Begich winning would leave both Bible Spice and the Felon in Alaska and out of the lower 48.  At the same time it will also remove a rabid republican out of the Senate.  One just has to Hope Al Franken and Jim Martin win their seats.  I'll be happy with 59.5% majority in the Senate. (Joe Lieberman .5 Democratic .5 Republican)

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Serious Question...
What do people think are the chances of Holy Joe being re-elected in 2012?

Learn to read?

>^..^<

What will she do?
Do something to the Alaska Gas Pipeline for media attention? Go sledding naked?

Caribou Barbie still has a future in the national GOP...
...and I couldn't be happier, since it will continue, if not deepen, the rift between the diehard fundie GOP base and the moderates which have deserted the party in droves this election. Sure, I wouldn't mind seeing her convicted (even if she doesn't do time) for Troopergate, but I think that it's pretty unlikely. Much better for her to continue to steer what's left of the Republican Party straight into an iceberg come '12.

A possibility for Bible Spice...
would be to run for the US Senate in 2010. That seat will be up for renewal at that time. It is currently held by Lisa Murkowski. She is the daughter of Frank Murkowski, who, coincidentally, was ousted from the governor's mansion after helping Bible Spice learn the ropes on state wide politics. She then ran against him (she seems to have a habit of screwing over everyone who helps her) and won. Although, as I say, it is a possibility, I think she would be bored to tears in the US Senate - this body is actually filled with people who are capable of long term critical thinking on issues of the day - not her strongest attribute.

What will she do?
My money's on declare the count illegal or invalid, then put either herself, Todd or both in after Uncle Ted is hauled off.

She would be a very useful senator
I was so looking forward to seeing her inevitable filibusters so we'd learn in detail what she thinks about absolutely everything under the sun.  She's a blabbermouth and would let quite a number of dominionist cats out of the bag.  By the time she got through the irrational right would be looking for a place to hide.

The Republicans don't filibuster anymore...
...they just inform the Democrats that they might intend to filibuster and the Dems roll over and play dead.

More ballots will be counted today . . .
and thousands more on Tuesday. The largest group of uncounted ballots come from Anchorage, Southeast and the Bush (that means towns off the road system; not related to George or to lesbian sex) which are voting strongly democrat this year, so we're hopeful.
