Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Bible no defense for child abuse, according to court filing in Tony Alamo lawsuit

by: Pam Spaulding

Sat Jan 03, 2009 at 15:00:00 PM EST

Back in September, fed and state warrents were executed at Tony Alamo Christian Ministries in Fouke, Arkansas, regarding allegations of sexual and physical abuse at the facility as well as child pornagraphy. Six girls, ages 10 -17 years old, were removed from the property.

One of the attorneys involved with the case is that Alamo's faith (that includes the belief that puberty determines the age of consent) do not trump public safety.

Alamo's lawyer said in a court filing last week that the Bible requires spanking unruly children, and he suggested that Alamo had permission from church parents to discipline their children.

The 74-year-old Alamo faces trial in February on charges he took children across state lines for sex.

Alamo was convicted of tax-related charges in 1994 in Memphis, Tenn., and served four years in prison after the IRS said he owed the government $7.9 million. Prosecutors in that case argued that Alamo was a flight risk and a polygamist who preyed on married women and girls in his congregation.

I reiterate: good, fuck 'em.
What's the difference between me saying, "I beat my husband every weekend," and, "I beat my husband every weekend because it's my religion?"

Answer: NOTHING.

Funny how religious don't count for something that's already a taboo in our society.

As Huckabee
whined to Jon Stewart:

Huckabee: But Jon, religious people don't have the right to burn others at the stake; they don't have the right to do anything they wish to do-

Still gives me freaking chills.

"Wah-fucking-wah, we religioso fundies wanna BURN ALL THE HERETICS, Jon!! And we CAN'T! No fair!!!"

"It goes on one at a time, it starts when you care to act, it starts when you do it again after they said no, it starts when you say We and know who you mean, and each day you mean one more."

If the Bible makes it legal,
Than so would the Quaran.  Ironic how that works.

If I make sense? it was quite by accident.

Excellent
Perhaps we could use this ruling on parents who send their children to "ex-gay" camps.

Fetch my pearls, I need to clutch them!

B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-but...
...it's my religion!  :-(

"Our Liberties We Prize and Our Rights We Will Maintain" -- Iowa state motto

Slowly--much TOO slowly--
but steadily, courts across the country are finally beginning to realize that "freedom of religion" is not a get-out-of-jail-free card for anything you want to do.   When the Founders included religious freedom on the first amendment, they meant that you are free to practice the religion of your choice in the manner of your choice without government interference.  Period.  They did NOT mean that you have freedom to treat anyone else any way you want to.  It's high time our courts started understanding that--not to mention our government as a whole (are you listening, Barack?).

I am not interested in picking up crumbs of compassion thrown from the table of someone who considers himself my master. I want the full menu of rights.  -Archbishop Desmond Tutu

In a demimonde of odious actors...
...Tony stands out in the crowd. He's been a particular 'favorite' of mine for years, ever since I found one of his flyers while in D.C. many years ago.

Curious, isn't it, you almost never see any Atheists/Humanists getting busted for child abuse, sexual or otherwise and/or child porn.

Yet, if one lets Google News do the heavy lifting, you can almost always find one or two such incidents a week among the godbothering classes.

The universal excuse of, "Well, they're not REAL Christians!" has rung hollow for many years.
