Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Breaking: Illinois House Votes To Impeach Gov. Rod Blagojevich

by: Autumn Sandeen

Fri Jan 09, 2009 at 11:58:00 AM EST

The vote's in -- The Illinois House voted to impeach Gov. Rod Blagojevich. From the Chicago Tribune:

Impeachment case against BlagojevichSPRINGFIELD---In a historic vote, the Illinois House has impeached Gov. Rod Blagojevich, directing the Senate to put the state's 40th chief executive on trial with the goal of removing him from office.

The vote by the House was 114-1 and marks the first time in the state's 190-year history that a governor has been impeached, despite Illinois' longstanding reputation for political corruption.

Illinois House ResolutionRep. Milt Patterson (D-Chicago) was the lone vote against impeaching the governor. Patterson, from Chicago's Southwest Side, said after the roll call that he didn't feel it was his job to vote to impeach the governor. He declined comment on whether he approved of the job Blagojevich is doing.

...The actions of the House--approving an article of impeachment maintaining Blagojevich had committed abuses of power--represents the equivalent of an indictment.

So he's not been removed from office -- this is a vote to have a trial in the Illinois Senate over whether or not he should be removed from office.

Gov. Blagojevich
Autumn,
I am surprised that you failed to mention Blagojevich's options if he is removed from office:

If he is found guilty of egregious malfeasance, misfeasance, nonfeasance and other misconduct, he is allowed to run for the Louisiana political office of his choosing.

Whereas, if he is found guilty of simple misconduct, the three feasances (mal-, mis-, and non-)  and incredulous stupidity, he is allowed to be an unmonitored paid ethics advisor to the Texas State Legislature until such time as he chooses to run for the Texas political office of his choosing.

Are you kidding?
Why would you bring other states into it?  Illinois politics is in a class by itself.

Oh yeah?
Hah! Texas will match its magnificent politicians against Illinois' any day!

Did the Illinois legislature have a resolution honoring the Boston Strangler for his efforts in population control? The Texas State Legislature did. (see http://www.snopes.com/legal/de... )

The Texas enlightened elite will reconvene in Austin on the 13th. Many comedians and satirists shiver with anticipation. Many other Texans shiver for a different reason.

Unfortunately, the Texas Republican platform is not funny.

[ Parent ]
They should at least impeach his hair.
