"If you're gay, lesbian, or bisexual, would you sacrifice for your trans neighbors and siblings? If you're trans, would you sacrifice for your gay, lesbian, or bisexual neighbors and siblings? It's something worth knowing about yourself and those around you." --Autumn Sandeen, 4/19/2010, the night before GetEQUAL's DADT repeal protest at the White House

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend: "a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).
"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

New Hampshire Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, an outspoken, international gay rights leader, has been asked to give a prayer at one of President-elect Barack Obama's first inauguration events at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
The announcement follows weeks of criticism from Robinson and gay-rights groups over Obama's decision to tap the Rev. Rick Warren, who's likened committed gay relationships to incest and polygamy, to pray on inauguration day.
Robinson, an early Obama supporter, said last month the choice of Warren left him feeling as if he'd been slapped in the face. In a telephone interview this weekend, Robinson, of Weare, said he doesn't believe Obama has included him in response to the Warren criticism. But he said his inclusion won't go unnoticed by the gay and lesbian community.
"It's important for any minority to see themselves represented in some way," Robinson said. "Whether it be a racial minority, an ethnic minority or, in our case, a sexual minority. Just seeing someone like you up front matters."
Warren, author and high-profile pastor of a California mega-church, will still give the invocation at the Jan. 20 inauguration, shortly before Obama delivers his much-anticipated inaugural address.
Comment from HRC:
"Bishop Robinson models what prayer should be-spiritual reflection put into action for justice," said Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese. "It is encouraging that the president-elect has chosen this spiritual hero for all Americans to lead the nation in prayer at the Lincoln Memorial inaugural concert."
More info about the event Robinson is invited to from the inaugural committee. It's called "We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration At The Lincoln Memorial."
The special will be executive produced by George Stevens, Jr. (The Kennedy Center Honors), and produced by Don Mischer (Olympic Ceremonies) who will also direct the special, and Michael Stevens (The American Film Institute Salutes) who is also writing the special, and will be a production of The Stevens Company in association with Don Mischer Productions.
Musical performers scheduled for the event include Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Renee Fleming, Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles, John Mellencamp, Usher Raymond IV, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, will.i.am, and Stevie Wonder. Among those reading historical passages will be Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III, Queen Latifah and Denzel Washington. The Rt. Reverend V. Gene Robinson will give the invocation. Rob Mathes will be the music director and arranger for the backing band, which will support all of the artists. Additional performers will be announced as they are confirmed.
UPDATE: Freeper reaction below the fold.
UPDATE 2: Bill Donohue of the Catholic League is having a cow. His bleatings after the jump as well.
It doesn't matter to me. I won't be listening, watching or in any way participating in the "festivities". Perversion and apostacy is clearly OK with this incoming administration.
I think he was misquoted here. He is part of the "hole nation".
Never play chess with an Episcopalian - they can't tell a bishop from a queen.
This is clearly a pander to his "GLBT" base because of the Rick Warren thing.
Not smart. Instead of being seen as inclusive, he's going to wind up offending everybody.
It is encouraging that the president-elect has chosen this spiritual hero for all Americans Hell and Death, this is bad.
America has turned her back on Christ and God is turning His back on us.
It is incredible to me that Bishop Gene identifies more with his "GLBT" base than with Jesus!
I will be careful not to be especially Christian in my prayer. No danger of that since he isn't one anyway!
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
This is sick.
Yeah, "special," and perverted...
If a heterosexual father of two young daughters left his wife for a newer, younger sex partner, and proundly boasted about that decision, I doubt there would be much support for promoting the adulterer to the position of Bishop. However, since Robinson left his wife for another man, the Episcopal leadership decided that his promotion would represent "diversity".
It's a shame the church didn't consider following Jesus to be as relevant as political correctness in choosing a leader: In a well known passage from Matthew 19, Jesus said, "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery." While Robinson didn't quite marry another woman, I think Jesus's stance on the issue can be inferred from these words.
His comments speak volumes to me for where his heart and faith really are and they obviously aren't in GOD! For him as a bishop to push his gay agenda is just sickening to me. I just don't get why we are supposed to be so accepting of their beliefs but they aren't of ours...and loudly and repeatedly say so at every opportunity. They keep pushing for equality at the expense of everyone else's. His comments only inflame the situation even more and he can't even see that. They want to voice their gayness loudly and openly while we are supposed to keep our opinion to ourselves.
If he isn't going to say a Christian prayer, then what's the point?
Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments today on the selection of Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson to offer a prayer at an inaugural event next week:
"President-elect Barack Obama says he wants to unite Americans, and yet he chooses the most polarizing person in the Episcopal Church, Bishop Gene Robinson, to offer a prayer at one of his inaugural events. Robinson, who dumped his wife and children to live with another man, is not just an embarrassment to rank-and-file Episcopalians, he has a record of offending Catholics, as well.
"In 2005, Robinson said the following: 'I find it so vile that they [the Catholic Church] think they are going to end the child abuse scandal by throwing out homosexuals from seminaries. It is an act of violence that needs to be confronted.' He added that 'Pope Ratzinger [sic] may be the best thing that ever happened to the Episcopal Church. We are seeing so many Roman Catholics joining the church.'
"Three months ago, the disgraced openly gay bishop admitted that he had led a retreat a few years ago for gay Catholic priests. He stuck his nose into the affairs of the Catholic Church even further when he urged those priests to push for women priests, saying 'that if you work for the ordination of women in your church, you will go a long way toward opening the door for the acceptance of gay priests.'
"In other words, Obama has chosen a man who offends Catholics as much as he does Protestants. If that's his idea of inclusion, he can keep it. The only saving grace is that Robinson says he will not use a Bible next week. It would be news if he did."
