The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego)."Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Should we send this to Maureen Dowd, who thinks she lives in a post-racial America? Look at the knee-slapping humor of Los Alamitos Mayor Dean Grose. He thought it was A-OK to send out this doctored photo of watermelons on the White House lawn in honor of Barack Obama occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And check this out:Grose's email included the heading, "No Easter Egg hunt this year."
"I think he's saying that since there's a black president, there will be no need to hunt for eggs since they're growing watermelons in the front yard this year," said Keyanus Price, an African American who was among those receiving the email. Price told Fletcher that she considers the email rascist and offensive.
"What I'm concerned about is how can this person send an e-mail out like this and think it is OK?" Price said. "He's putting the city into a bad place and he is a liability."
Grose apologized to Price, city council members and others.
"It was just poor judgment on my part and I am deeply sorry," he said. UPDATE: Oh lord, it's gets even worse in the follow up article. Price responded to his email:"Hey, that's not nice at all. Not all black people like watermelon... you should know better than that."
Grose replied: "The way things are today, you gotta laugh every now and then. I wanna see the coloring contests."
Price said Grose's response upset her more. "As soon as I saw his response; that put me over the top because it was no big deal to him," she said.
...The e-mail was sent to at least one other person, but the mayor said he isn't sure how many people received it. He said there is a "small group" of people he sometimes forward e-mails to.
In his apology to Price via e-mail, Grose wrote that he was not representing himself as a public official. |
