MassResistance

MassResistance has ceased having any impact in NE. Even many of their ex supporters have seen that the sky is still where it belongs long after the legalization of same sex marriage in MA.  Camenker is a nothing.

Patricia Gozemba nuked mAssResistance reporting in committee

Bay Windows has a great article up on the idiot from mAssResistance, the discredited report used in the Senate JGO committee hearing, and Pat Gozemba's role in debunking that crap for our Senators. Bless her.

"The AIDS data was the first thing that raised [my suspicions], I was like, wait a second, I've heard this before. And then Sen. Mike Gabbard pulled out Heather Has Two Mommies and said these are the kinds of books that have to be taught in Massachusetts, and I thought, I recognize this," said Gozemba. Camenker's report claims same-sex marriage has led to the inclusion of LGBT-inclusive books in Bay State school curricula, although it does not single out Heather Has Two Mommies by name.

Gozemba said while sitting in the hearing room she noticed that a woman sitting next to her wearing a sticker announcing her opposition to civil unions had a copy of Camenker's report in her lap. When it was her turn to testify Gozemba, who married her partner Karen Khan in 2005 in Massachusetts, rebutted some of the claims made by Camenker in his report.

The religious reich has been using the same tired junk science and false claims over and over and over.  It all has been debunked and shown to be just what it is, Garbage.  This Bull Shit has been repeated so many times there should be some one or a group putting an archive together.  

I have said that it will only be a few years before Marriage Equality is Nation wide. The reason is the same tired worn out crap in every case.  

The AIDS increase, Kids having gay books read to them, blah blah blah.

The court decisions will be the same, Ruling for marriage equality.

Pat had emailed me for information on Camenker

to refute the bunch of lies he's peddling around the country. This was one of thoese "do you do it or not do it" because if you refute what he wrote you're giving him credibility and get into the whole bullet by bullet point that what he says is batsh*t.

I told her that she needed to expose Massresistance for what they truly are, a one man lunatic organization listed as a hate group by the southern Poverty Law Center.  This guy actually believes that Macy's has transgender and non-transgender mannequins and that he can link same sex marriage to an increase in crime rates, poor air quality and homelessness.  The guy is nuts.  Even conservatives have distanced themselves from him.  He's The Peter's best friend, what does that say!  He's had nazi revisionists speak at his fundraising banquets (banquets that don't seem to bring in enough money since he's constantly asking for money in every email) AND the majority of the money he takes in goes to him.

No one in Massachusetts takes this fool seriously even the other anti-gay activists.  When you see him he is extremely creepy and always taking pictures everywhere he goes.  Another person from massresistance went to a high school or middle school to take some pictures, when the parents called the police the guy took off and while he was running away he started taking off his clothes, I kid you not.  These are the people of MassResistance.
