The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Washington Eagle Forum Resorts to Violent Terminology

by: Lurleen

Mon Jun 22, 2009 at 11:00:00 AM EDT

Washington Eagle Forum, a local subsidiary of Phyllis Schlafly's organization, is promoting the anti-family Referendum 71 using violent terminology.
The recent hostile acts of redefining marriage by our state legislators and Governor Gregoire is what has set the stage for Referendum 71.  They carefully crafted and passed a bill using the guise of domestic partnerships, but revealed their true intent by infusing the phrase "marriage shall apply equally to state registered domestic partnerships" 180 times throughout the bill.

This assault on marriage in Washington State will not go unanswered.

It is downright un-American to characterize the deliberative actions of a duly elected legislature and governor as "hostile" and an "assault" when those actions are to secure the equal protection of the law for all citizens, as per Amendment 14 of the United State Constitution.  Haven't we learned yet that inflammatory language kills?

Call 2 Fall = Grooming the Sheeple

by: Lurleen

Sun Jun 21, 2009 at 02:00:00 AM EDT

Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, has a new sheeple grooming scheme in play.  It's called "Call 2 Fall".  On the surface, it looks harmless enough.  He's asking clerics to set aside a few minutes during services on Sunday, July 5, 2009  and "call their people to get on their knees and faces before the Lord in repentant prayer to forgive our sins and heal our land."  Perkins says his inspiration is 2 Chronicles 7:14.  That may indeed be his inspiration, but his goal is decidedly profane.  A look at the Call 2 Fall materials sent out by Cindy Honcoop of the Washington Eagle Forum and Protect Marriage Washington makes clear that "submission" will entail more than just genuflecting.

Cindy Honcoop's Vacation Getaway (from Referendum 71)

by: Lurleen

Sat Jun 20, 2009 at 21:16:36 PM EDT

Referendum?  What Referendum?  Oh, that.  Don't be a silly!  Like referendum "endorser" Joseph Backholm, Cindy has a much more important date with fluffy white towels, strand cafes and sea stacks.  And she wants everyone to know it!  Cindy is tweeting her fabulous vacation travelogue so that Larry Stickney, who was left behind to do the donkey work, can see all the fun he is missing.
Destination - the Westin in Portland. Yes!  ---12:08 AM Jun 20th

Great dinner at Macaroni Grill...and Westin is right around the corner. I sense fluffy white towels ahead!! Westin rocks!  ---about 18 hours ago

Gary Randall lives near Portland.  Wonder if they hooked up?  Anyway, beautiful pictures and happy chatter from the AWOL Protect Marriage Washington board member/Washington Eagle Forum Director, after the fold.

Referendum 71 Heavyweights going on Vacation!

by: Lurleen

Fri Jun 19, 2009 at 19:13:15 PM EDT

Only a month until those outsized petition sheets need to be back in Larry's sweaty hands, and Referendum 71 heavyweights Cindy Honcoop and Joseph Backholm are heading out on vacation.

Referendum board member and director of WA Eagle Forum Cindy Honcoop tweeted 3 hrs ago

Destination - the Westin in Portland. Yes!
No great surprise I suppose, since Honcoop has never taken an active role in the referendum.

Referendum 71 Board Member Contemplates Quitting

by: Lurleen

Wed Jun 10, 2009 at 10:00:00 AM EDT

Protect Marriage Washington is the misnamed organization out to repeal Washington State's new domestic partnership law via Referendum 71.  Cindy Honcoop is on the Protect Marriage Washington Board of Directors, but while others work, Cindy has been known to vacate and Twitter.  And now, as her colleagues feverishly burn rubber crossing the state to deliver the long-overdue referendum petitions, Cindy picks up her fiddle.
# Another cool thot from a twitterer - "The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed." ~Old Chinese Proverb
about 13 hours ago from web
Why tempting 'thots' of quitting?  Maybe it has something to do with the dismal donation rates.  The Public Disclosure Commission says that Protect Marriage Washington has only raised $2,072.  And carpetbagger Gary Randall's Faith and Freedom PAC ("exclusively committed" to Ref 71, except it's not) has only received a piddly $1,994.51 in contributions.  Ouch.  Printing and distributing 60,000 petitions with 100+ page long bill attachments will drain those funds pretty quickly.  No wonder Gary was diverting donations to his non-PAC accounts - must protect the paycheck!  Wouldn't want to spend that dough on a referendum nobody wants.  And I mean nobody.

Incidentally, although Cindy is a dedicated tweeter, she still hasn't bothered to sign up to follow PMW's Twitters.  I wonder if Cindy was really ever wholeheartedly on board with this referendum thing.

Washington State Has Full Domestic Partnerships! Well, technically...

by: Lurleen

Mon May 18, 2009 at 14:24:25 PM EDT

For the second time this year, Washington's Governor Chris Gregoire has had the honor of advancing civil rights with her mighty pen. Governor Gregoire has been a steadfast ally.  Here is what she said when the House passed SB 5688, the Domestic Partnership Expansion Bill of 2009:
"I want to thank the legislators who worked tirelessly to get this bill passed in the House. This legislation will expand basic benefits, provide better financial security and ensure equal treatment for domestic partners living in Washington state. Our state is one that thrives on diversity. We have to respect and protect all families that make up our communities."

Thank you Governor Gregoire, Equal Rights Washington and 92 fair-minded representatives and senators (out of 146) for making this happen!  Over 5,300 domestic partnerships had been filed since July, 2007.

The question remains when the bill will take effect.  Because Oregonian Gary Randall and & his bumbling Washington operative Larry Stickney are proceeding with their cash cow fools errand of a ReferenDUMB, the law will remain in limbo until they fail to return enough valid signatures by the deadline of July 25th.
