The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend: "a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."
He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior."
(CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)
Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).
"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008
Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:
A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist." (Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)
"A nutty lesbian blogger." (MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)
Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

Now you'll remember all of the BS boasting about the brilliance of Sarah Palin that went on in the McCain camp and by conservatives when she was selected as the failed presidential candidate's running mate. Don't you think it's professional malfeasance, hell, unpatriotic, to try to 1) foist her onto the American public as a strong, credible candidate, and 2) propel someone so wholly unqualified into the White House? We all called it back then, but now the McCainiacs are falling all over one another to say how brain-dead and incorrigible Palin was to Vanity Fair. (Raw Story):
According to the article, former McCain campaign staffers suffer from a collective "survivor's guilt" over the problem-plagued choice of Palin as vice-presidential candidate. The friction between McCain and Palin was so intense that it carried over into election night, when Palin wanted to address the Arizona crowd to whom McCain was to give his concession speech. After much back-and-forth wrangling, Palin didn't speak that night.
But trouble had been brewing long before that. Over the course of the campaign, one close adviser to McCain "was heard to refer to Palin as "little shop of horrors'" during the campaign.
...Palin's lack of aptitude in her new starring role as V-P candidate became obvious quickly. At times, it seemed as if she was more concerned with her popularity back home in Alaska than with the national presidential campaign that she was now a central part of.
"By all accounts, Palin was either unwilling, or simply unable, to prepare," the piece says. "In the run-up to the Couric interview, Palin had become preoccupied with a far more parochial concern: answering a humdrum written questionnaire from her hometown newspaper, the Frontiersman ... At the same time, she grew concerned that her approval ratings back home in Alaska were sagging as she embraced the role of McCain's bad cop."
And the Vanity Fair piece asks some really obvious pointed questions that I'd love to hear the answers to from the McCain/Palin supporters who knew what was up.
What does it say about the nature of modern American politics that a public official who often seems proud of what she does not know is not only accepted but applauded? What does her prominence say about the importance of having (or lacking) a record of achievement in public life? Why did so many skilled veterans of the Republican Party - long regarded as the more adroit team in presidential politics - keep loyally working for her election even after they privately realized she was casual about the truth and totally unfit for the vice-presidency? Perhaps most painful, how could John McCain, one of the cagiest survivors in contemporary politics - with a fine appreciation of life's injustices and absurdities, a love for the sweep of history, and an overdeveloped sense of his own integrity and honor-ever have picked a person whose utter shortage of qualification for her proposed job all but disqualified him for his?
The "Patriotic, Resilient, Conservative" folks at GrassFire.org (a 501(c)4 shop) are looking for a few good resistance fighters -- one million to be exact. Let's hope the Secret Service is gathering information.
Obama and his allies are preparing to implement his liberal, "post-American" agenda. Simply put, what President-elect Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Congress have in store has the potential to rapidly move America to the socialist Left.
Who can stop the Obama agenda? Only an unprecedented idea-based Resistance from freedom-loving citizens can prevent the full implementation of Obama's march to the Left. That's why Grassfire.org is seeking to identify and mobilize grassroots citizens who will Join The Resistance- an alliance of patriotic, resilient and determined conservatives who will not forsake their principles. Our goal? One million citizens joining together by Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009.
If the patriots they are looking for are the same kind of people who attended the McCain/Palin rallies it's not a stretch to expect violence from this crowd. Look at the wild ideas they have about an Obama administration below the fold.
Clearly eBay seller venturepaper has no interest in the selling a mug shot of Bill Ayers. At 99 cents, the real purpose of item #110303979828 is to post this crap, which includes address and phone numbers related to Ayers' workplace. Has it not sunken in yet that no one gives a damn about this? It's below the fold.
Photo is a representation of the Ayers-Obama connection. Barry H. Obama's head is not actually this big.
If she had been a white girl, you might have heard about it.
NOTE FROM PAM: This happened in Caledonia, Wisconsin.
"The next thing I know he's telling us we're not his people, we're probably with ACORN, and he started screaming and raving. He grabbed me by the back of the neck. I thought he was going to rip my hair out of my head. He was pounding on my head and screaming. The man terrified me," Takehara said.
Obama called her to make sure that she was OK, Takehara said.
"This negative stuff has to stop. (We’re) not about attacking each other," Takehara said.
"I thought he was going to rip my hair out of my head. He was pounding on my head and screaming. The man terrified me."
Ronald Goetsch says he had a heated verbal exchange with Takehara over allegations of voter improprieties in other states and the role of voter registration groups and asked her numerous times to leave his property.
How's that Ayers meme working out for you, McSame?
Just 28% of voters believe that John McCain's campaign has been helped by talking about the relationship between Barack Obama and William Ayers. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 50% believe talk of that issue has hurt McCain's effort while 15% say it has had no impact.
As I've noted before, Obama supporters don't have a need to make sh*t up about violence and hate from the other side. Raw Story:
After several political signs were stolen or vandalized from his front yard, a Missouri man installed video cameras in an attempt to catch the vandals in the act.
And that's exactly what he did.
A video below shows a woman stepping out of a truck and kicking Mike Brown's Obama/Biden political signs before running away.
"I'm just a guy who has a sign in his yard, and this is the first election that I have ever felt was important enough for me to voice my opinion in the form of a yard sign," said Brown.
"It happened Monday at Parkway West Middle School. Some kids called it 'Hit a Jew' Day. At least three children were hit during the incident, all of whom were Jewish. Two were tapped on the shoulder or arm, but one child was slapped in the face."
"School principal Linda Lelonek said it started last week. The sixth graders decided to have a 'Hug a Friend' day. Then it was 'High-Five Day,' but teachers did not know what was going on until several kids were hit."
"Educators said they do not believe the incident was done with hatred or prejudice."
Should we be surprised that the violence and bigotry we've seen in the supporters of McCain/Palin are just as prevalent in the "pro-family, save marriage" thugs in favor of passing Prop 8? Take a look at this video, shot on a camera phone by Theremina:
Something to keep in mind: when I hit the record button, I hadn't said a single word to anyone, or interfered with the rally any way. I stood a fair distance away from the sign-wavers (remaining at least four feet away from all of them...until they approached me). But as soon as they noticed me filming them, I was greeted with curses and threats of violence. "Get that shit out of here. I'll knock it out of your hand." None of these folks knew me, yet they instantly knew they hated me.
Eventually, as you can see, some of the protesters surrounded me and began poking at me with their signs. Others, some of the most visibly angry and hysterical among them (apparently minors), hid their faces behind their banners while continuing to scream at passing traffic.
I asked the most aggressive woman (who was not underage) "are you afraid to be online?" She answered, "oh, no, they already videotaped me, but these kids don't want to be online, cause they're [unintelligible] loaded on a sexual perv profile and [unclear] look at my little cousins." Fair enough. I'm all for protecting the innocent. (Not that there's anything particularly innocent about screaming hate speech in public.)
The woman continued to poke at my face with her sign and call me "nasty." Genuinely disturbed by the complete lack of rational behavior I'd seen up to this point, wanting to look into her face and possibly connect on some level with her as a fellow human being, I pulled a corner of the sign down away from my eyes and asked "why are you calling me nasty?"
That's when she attacked, clawing, grabbing and then shoving. I didn't fight back; she was much bigger than me. After calling me a "nasty fucker" and threatening to kick my ass, she pried my phone out of my hand and tried to break it in half while her friends egged her on.
Please note that I never touched or threatened her in any way (unless you want to consider my pulling the edge of her sign out of eye-poking territory a threatening gesture).
You have to surf over and read the rest. Below the fold, another incident is caught on tape, this time at a Yes on 8 rally in Bakersfield.
Add this one to the pile. A vile video of McCain/Palin supporters -- the Base that the GOP nominee has worked so hard to win over and keep in the fold -- exhibiting the kind of behavior no sane person would want to be associated with, but here we are. These people own their racism and hatred for Barack Obama.
At least these people are honest. That's more that we can say about the McCain/Palin team, which has worked overtime to stoke these feelings while trying to keep their hands clean. (Progress Action Now):
Take special note of the children acting like monkeys and calling Obama the "monkey president". The cursing man with the baby was also a special treat:
Family is chanting NoBama over and over. Man #1: he ain't no real American.
Another man is shown punching a cardboard Obama in the head.
Man #2: eight years of terrorists!
Man #3: (sarcastically) Hussein...that's cool!
Woman to Obama supporter: Are you sick? Are you a socialist?
Woman #2: He's a fraud...he's Osama!
Man #3: He's a Muslim Communist!
(the videographer asks this man if he really believes that) The response:
Man #3: Yeah, absolutely. His wife made him say he is a Christian so he could get elected.
Man #4: Socialist...communist! He's a communist!
Man #5: You need to read the Communist Manifesto 'cause that's what you're all about.
Man #6: Lookit -- the important thing is, God may not be on my side, but Satan is on your side.
Man #7: I don't want to be a communist, I don't want to be a socialist. I want to be an American.
Woman #3 holding a McCain/Palin sign: Communist! Communist!
Man # 8: He's a stupid bum.
Man #9, holding a baby: He's bullshit and a piece of crap he is.
Spot on. Keith outlines the role of the McCain campaign in promoting this bogus story of race-baiting assault to the right wing MSM.
As reported by TPM earlier, paragraphs from the WPXI reporting on the story included statements from the McCain campaign suggesting the assault was politically motivated -- and the imaginary assailant was a black Obama supporter. Those paragraphs were removed from the article, after Peter Feldman, a mouthpiece for the McCain campaign in Pennsylvania, backed off his assertion that the "B" carved on to the face of the hoaxer Ashley Todd stood for Barack.
It's like Susan Smith and Charles Stuart all over again -- a disturbed person blaming a non-existent black man for a crime, fomenting the fear of "the Other" based on our country's inability to acknowledge and deal with race, difference, and stereotypes. That this perpetrator of a hoax was a McCain campaign worker underscores the whole whipped up race frenzy of the McCain mob that we've seen in the last several weeks. It's time to flush this toxic sludge away.
Police sources tell KDKA that a campaign worker has now confessed to making up a story that a mugger attacked her and cut the letter "B" in her face after seeing her McCain bumper sticker.
Ashley Todd, 20, of Texas, initially told police that she was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield and that the suspect became enraged and started beating her after seeing her GOP sticker on her car.
According to Ashley Todd, a 6-foot-4 black man wearing dark blue jeans and a tank top robbed her of sixty dollars. Them, noticing a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on her car, became enraged, beat her, and then carved the letter "B" in her cheek.
Unfamiliar with her surroundings, Ashley Todd drove to a friend's house. The friend called the police and Ashley Todd was interviewed at the friend's house. Later the officer drove Ashley Todd to the ATM where the crime allegedly took place. Ashley Todd initially refused treatment, but was later driven to the hospital by the friend, a student at the University of Pittsburgh.
Later, a photo of the young woman began to circulate around the internet. Clearly the woman was beaten very badly and the "B", which appears reversed in the photo, is very clear on her right cheek.
The dumbass must have scrawled it into her face in the mirror, and thus the B is flopped. The police also reported that Todd's story conflicts with the security camera footage at the ATM. Good god, these wingnuts are stupid. More after the jump.
I kid you not. Deadly violence, my friends, is around the corner. In this case, the nutbags are acting out on one another (Colorado Pols):
As the Glenwood Springs Post-Independent reports, the question of whether this segment of full-bore nutter McCain/Palin supporters is a symptom of something new and ugly manifesting in our culture, or people who would be crazy anyway and are simply more noticeable when they gather in large arena settings, remains open:
Heated words between drivers leaving Sarah Palin's rally Monday allegedly escalated with one man brandishing a loaded handgun.
Jack B. Cheskaty, 62, of Grand Junction, said he pulled a handgun because "he wanted to be ready for anything" in what started as a verbal spat between drivers in bumper-to-bumper traffic leaving Lincoln Park around 8 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest affidavit.
Cheskaty and three family members were riding in a Chrysler, moving slowly in a line a traffic. A man behind the wheel of a Kia SUV attempted to inch in front of Cheskaty's Chrysler, the affidavit said.
"If you want to get ahead of me you'll have to deal with my insurance agency," Cheskaty allegedly shouted.
The Kia's driver reportedly replied, "I've got insurance too."
The driver in the Kia alleged Cheskaty then displayed a handgun, "racked the slide" and held the weapon over the steering wheel, according to the affidavit.
The sickness continues...this is the Right's idea of a "political statement" -- shooting a bear in the head and stapling Obama-Biden signs to it.
"I just can't believe people would go to such an extent to state their political beliefs," said WCU Junior, Bethany Rowe "A sick individual who thinks extremely badly about Obama," said Freshman Daniel Ford.
Political Science professor Chris Cooper agrees with students;
"I think it sends a pretty disturbing message, obviously it sounds like it may have some racial implications and at the very least its somebody sending the wrong message and taking this hot political season the wrong way."
University police are investigating and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
Unbelievable. More patriots for the cause, this time in Hays County, Texas. You won't believe what the hooligans in support of McCain/Palin did to this car. Mock, Paper, Scissors received this from a friend:
Check out the pictures of my car.
I am also reporting this to the Obama Campaign, hoping they keep track of incidents like this.
===================
On the eve of early voting, an Obama supporter's car was vandalized in rural western Hays County, Texas.
The Obama bumper sticker was torn off, a 20-lb rock was put through the back window, two Obama yard signs were shoved through the hole in the rear window and "Obama" was badly spray-painted in orange along the drivers side door.
Hays County Sheriffs Deputies spent several hours dusting the scene of the crime for fingerprints and gathering other evidence. Onlookers identified this incident as a hate crime and possible voter intimidation.
Sigh. This happened yesterday in Fayetteville yesterday. And only a couple of days before, a Greensboro reporter was kicked to the ground by another McCain/Palin patriot at a Bible Spice rally at Elon.
Someone slashed the tires of at least 30 vehicles parked outside the Crown Coliseum on Sunday during a rally for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, authorities said.
Sheriff's deputies are investigating. The tires were cut while people were inside the Crown Coliseum listening to speeches, said Maj. E. Wright of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
Sarah Revis, who lives on Wilkes Road, said the slashed tires left several women, including a single mother and a toddler, stranded and upset. At least four tow trucks were sent to move the vehicles from the Crown, Revis said. "This is an embarrassment to this city and to me as a citizen," Revis said. "I've seen women out here crying and men cussing. This is a crying shame."
Lynne Steenstra said she thought that the slashings were scare tactics designed to keep her and others from supporting Obama. Even though it cost her roughly $120 to get her Dodge Caravan towed and fixed, Steenstra said the act would not intimidate her from voting.
"It hasn't deterred us one bit," Steenstra said. "It has only encouraged us more. I just hope whoever did this pays the price."
You know this wasn't the work of one lone whack job. Unlike most of the recent McCain mobsters, these cretins are cowards who are unable to show their faces when they do their vile deeds.
UPDATE: More of The McCain Base -- people heckling early voters in NC
Photographer Joe Eddins and I headed over to the closest one and found a steady line of voters hoping to cast ballots early. Most seemed to be Obama supporters and several had come from the rally. Nearly all the voters were black.
Also at the polling site was a group of loud and angry protesters who shouted and mocked the voters as they walked in. Nearly all were white.
As you can see from these videos, no one held anything back. People were shouting about Obama's acknowledged cocaine use as a young man, abortion and one man used the word "terrorist." They also were complaining that Sundays are for church, not voting.
And get a load of the reception Obama received from another high-class McCain/Palin supporter while the candidate was at Cape Fear BBQ and Chicken in Fayetteville. It's below the fold.
More lancing of the boil of racism continues. In Ohio, Electronic Village's Wayne Hicks reports on a local man who thought this political statement was A-OK, after all, he doesn't hide that he believes that a black man should not be president of his white Christian nation. Wayne:
Mike Lunsford is the racist fool who decided to hang this display at his home over on Symmes and Hicks Road in Fairfield.
A local reporter spoke with Mr. Lunsford. He isn't shy about what the make-shift ghost, hanging from a noose above the 'McCain-Palin' sign. A Barack Obama sign attached upside down. Obama's middle name: "Hussein" spray painted and misspelled.
...Lunsford says he believes Barack Obama is not a "full blooded American." And he says the United States is a white, Christian nation - and only with white Christians should be in power.
The rage-a-thon at the Palin rallies continues, this time during her trip to Elon College here in North Carolina, where Greensboro News & Record reporter Joe Killian (who was at ConvergeSouth today recounting the event, though I didn't get a chance to meet up with him) was kicked to the ground, assaulted by one of the McCain Mob.
Killian was out in the crowd, trying to interview some of the Obama supporters attending the rally when...
As he [the Obama supporter] was telling me a large, bearded man in full McCain-Palin campaign regalia got in his face to yell at him.
"Hey, hey," I said. "I'm trying to interview him. Just a minute, okay?"
The man began to say something about how of course I was interviewing the Obama people when suddenly, from behind us, the sound of a pro-Obama rap song came blaring out of the windows of a dorm building. We all turned our heads to see Obama signs in the windows.
This was met with curses, screams and chants of "U.S.A" by McCain-Palin folks who crowded under the windows trying to drown it out and yell at the person playing the stereo.
It was a moment of levity in an otherwise very tense situation and so I let out a gentle chuckle and shook my head.
"Oh, you think that's funny?!" the large bearded man said. His face was turning red. "Yeah, that's real funny..." he said.
And then he kicked the back of my leg, buckling my right knee and sending me sprawling onto the ground.
From my position there I saw the bottoms of a number of feet almost accidentally stomping me to death as the two political camps screamed back and forth, the music continued to blare and some of the Obama crowd moved the large bearded man and his friends away. When I was helped to my feet the bearded man was walking away quickly.
For a moment I considered running the bloated, twelve-sandwich eating prick down and beating the living hell out of him...and then I remembered that I'm a reporter, how much I enjoy being gainfully employed and how hard it would be to keep my job if I got into a fistfight with a guy at a political rally.
Killian then looked for security or some member of law enforcement, but when he returned, the Palin bootlicker was gone.
Holy smoke, the downward spiral of anti-Obama sentiment fomented by McCain/Palin is spilling out into one-on-one harassment. Mike Signorile has had callers dial in to share hair-raising stories about being lashed out at by members of the "McCain mob."
We received several calls about "Obama 08" bumper stickers and people lashing out at motorists who had them on their cars -- all in the same week that John McCain and Sarah Palin began spewing incendiary rhetoric on the campaign trail. And I heard in emails as well from people being accosted in the bank, at the hair salon, on the street, in the supermarket. Were the rallies and the coverage in the media emboldening people to lash out at Obama supporters? Or were Palin and McCain tapping into something that was already happening on the streets and highways and elsewhere? Probably a mix of both.
A man from small town in Missouri wrote me explaining that his boss at a hair salon heard him talking to a client about Obama and butted in, screaming that Obama is the "anti-Christ!" (A heated exchange followed, which eventually involved the police -- the owner called them -- and the man was fired from his job). An African-American woman from Los Angeles wrote to tell me how she was on line at a bank in Pasadena, CA when a woman in back of her, a white woman, completely out of the blue turned to her and said, "I was going to vote for Obama, but I heard something that makes me just unable to vote for him now." She then went into a diatribe about abortion. A Kentucky man called the show to say that his pastor approached him on the street and told him he was going to go to hell if he voted for Obama.
A man in California called the show after he had just pulled into a gas station. A car had pulled up alongside him and the driver pointed to the man's "Obama 08" bumper sticker and began verbally abusing him.
The sad truth is that we have people walking among us who are filled with so much irrational hate that all they needed was license from McCain/Palin to explode. That is the shock factor for some people out there -- black, white, brown and all colors in between are experiencing first hand for simply supporting the Democratic candidate running for POTUS.
The coded (and not-so-coded) strategy of the McCain campaign was like flipping a switch -- the Base was awakened and took the message, along with Palin as their standard bearer, as a sign that anything goes, any frustrations, real or imagined, can be projected onto Barack Obama in order to dehumanize him -- monkey dolls, Obama Waffles, racist caricatures. None of these reactions has anything to do with policies or political worldview -- it's base racism, fear of the portrayed "other" and it's unchallenged by the Republican candidate and his running mate as significant enough of a problem to condemn their campaign's own tactics.
Go ahead, Senator McCain, ask about Bill Ayers at this last debate; while people are being sh*tcanned because their companies can't meet payroll, I don't think most Americans have any more patience for irrelevancies like this. When the economy is in the toilet, there is no other subject on the table. I don't know what all your high-priced lobbyist consultants are being paid, but you're getting a crap ROI.
