Blend-o-licious endorsements...

The Christian Civic League of Maine's Mike Hein calls Pam's House Blend:
"a leading source of radical homosexual propaganda, anti-Christian bigotry, and radical transgender advocacy."

He is "praying that Pam Spaulding will "turn away from her wicked and sinful promotion of homosexual behavior." (CCLM's web site, 10/15/07)

Ex-gay "Christian" activist James Hartline on Pam:
"I have been mocked over and over again by ungodly and unprincipled anti-christian lesbians."
(from "Six Years In Sodom: From The Journal Of James Hartline," 9/4/2006, written from the "homosexual stronghold" of Hillcrest in San Diego).

"Pam is a 'twisted lesbian sister' and an 'embittered lesbian' of the 'self-imposed gutteral experiences of the gay ghetto.'" -- 9/5/2008

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth Against Homosexuality heartily endorses the Blend, calling Pam:

A "vicious anti-Christian lesbian activist."
(Concerned Women for America's radio show [9:15], 1/25/07)

"A nutty lesbian blogger."
(MassResistance radio show [16:25], 2/3/07)

Pam's House Blend always seems to find these sick f*cks. The area of the country she is in? The home state of her wife? I know, they are everywhere. Pam just does such a great job of bringing them out into the light.

While the economy melts down...

by: Pam Spaulding

Tue Sep 16, 2008 at 06:28:58 AM EDT

We learn this about McCain/Palin:

* Mr. "The fundamentals of the economy are strong" has direct ties to the financial mess.  McCain, who has declared with great zesl that  "We will never put America in this position again. We will clean up Wall Street. This is a failure." Unfortunately his buddy and economic adviser Phil Gramm, as senator:

slipped a 262-page bill into a gargantuan, must-pass spending measure. Gramm's legislation, written with the help of financial industry lobbyists, essentially removed newfangled financial products called swaps from any regulation.
And so it goes, as McCain bleats that there must be greater "transparency and accountability" on Wall Street.

* The Alaska governor had a tanning bed installed at the governor's mansion. It was one of her first official acts.

* Official involved in Troopergate, Former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan,  says Palin lied to Charles Gibson in her interview. Wha? Ya think?

"She's not telling the truth when she told ABC neither she nor her husband pressured me to fire Trooper Wooten," Monegan told ABCNews.com, "And she's not telling the truth to the media about her reasons for firing me."
* Did I mention that Palin refuses to meet with Troopergate investigators, and that the McCain campaign is trying to snuff out the investigation? McCain mouthpiece Ed O'Callaghan said:
the Republican nominee for vice president, would not testify as part of the probe "as long as it remains tainted." He later clarified his statement to say Palin is "unlikely to cooperate" with the inquiry.
* Palin was caught in another lie (or to be charitable, McCain's self-proclaimed energy "expert" was in error), stating that Alaska supplies 20% of the nation's energy. Bzzzzt. Factcheck.org: "Alaska's share of domestic energy production was 3.5 percent, according to the official figures kept by the U.S. Energy Information Administration."

Greenspan's "once-in-a century" financial crisis counters McCain's economic hallucinations

by: Pam Spaulding

Mon Sep 15, 2008 at 06:00:00 AM EDT

"I still believe the fundamentals of our economy are strong. We've got terribly big challenges now, whether it be housing or employment or so many of the other - health care. It's very, very tough times. It's very tough. But we're still the most innovative, the most productive, the greatest exporter, the greatest importer."
-- John McCain, on the Laura Ingraham program (8/21/2008)
How long can McCain keep up this fantasy that a few tax cuts will get us out of this economic mess? Alan Greenspan gives it a 50% chance we will go into recession.
The United States is mired in a "once-in-a century" financial crisis which is now more than likely to spark a recession, former Federal Reserve chief Alan Greenspan said Sunday.

The talismanic ex-central banker said that the crisis was the worst he had seen in his career, still had a long way to go and would continue to effect home prices in the United States.

"First of all, let's recognize that this is a once-in-a-half-century, probably once-in-a-century type of event," Greenspan said on ABC's "This Week."

Asked whether the crisis, which has seen the US government step in to bail out mortgage giants Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, was the worst of his career, Greenspan replied "Oh, by far."

"There's no question that this is in the process of outstripping anything I've seen, and it still is not resolved and it still has a way to go," Greenspan said.

Obama's latest commercial:

What's happened to John McCain. He's running the sleaziest ads, ever.
Truly vile. Dishonest smears that he repeats, even after it's been exposed as a lie.
Truth be damned.
A disgraceful, dishonorable campaign.
After voting with Bush 90% of the time, he proposes the same disastrous economic policies.
It seems deception is all John McCain has left.
